This standard is a product standard for cable assemblies. The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard is applicable to cable assemblies. This standard is applicable in conjunction with the generic standard VG 95218-2 for rubber-insulated cables and wires. They are used to connect devices and are subject to approval according to VG 95211.
