Overview

This document defines terminology relating to fire safety as used in ISO and IEC International Standards. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 92 "Fire safety" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 127 "Fire safety in buildings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible national standards committee is Steering Committee NA 005-52 FBR "Fachbereichsbeirat KOA 02 - Brandschutz" "Steering Committee of Section KOA 02 - Safety in Case of Fire" at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
