Overview
This document specifies methods and procedures for testing, calculating, and determining the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of submersible multistage pump units. This document (EN 17038-4:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 197 "Pumps", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. The national interests during the preparation were represented by Working Committee NA 060-11-01 AA "Kreiselpumpen" ("Centrifugal pumps") of Technical Section "Pumpen" ("Pumps") at DIN Standards Committee Mechanical Engineering (NAM). Representatives of manufacturers and users of pumps, and of the employers' liability insurance associations were involved in the preparation.
