Overview
DIN EN ISO 6346 ensures consistency of marking references through freight container standards and provides supplementary markings to take account of changes in container design. The contents of DIN EN ISO 6346 (ISO 6346:2022) have been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 104 "Freight containers" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 119 "Intermodal Loading Units and Cargo Securing (ILUCS)", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible national standardization committee is Working Group NA 052-00-38-01 AK "Freight Containers" at DIN Standards Committee Road Vehicles and Mobility (NAAutomobil).
