This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-09-25 AA "Bemessungs- und Konstruktionsregeln für Bauprodukte aus Glas (SpA zu CEN/TC 129/WG 8, CEN/TC 250/SC 11 und CEN/TC 250/SC 11/WG 1)" ("Design and construction rules for glass building products (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 129/WG 8, CEN/TC 250/SC 11 and CEN/TC 250/SC 11/WG 1)"). This document gives design rules for mechanically supported glass components primarily subjected to in-plane loading. It also covers construction rules for mechanical joints for in-plane loaded glass components.
