Overview

This standard contains special requirements and information for watch primary batteries. This part of the DIN EN 60086 series has been prepared for users of primary batteries, watch developers and battery manufacturers in order to ensure the best compatibility between batteries and watches. Dimensions, designation, test methods and requirements for watch batteries are defined. The responsible committee is DKE/K 372 "Primärbatterien" ("Primary batteries") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
