Analysis of disperse systems - Vocabulary

Title (German)

Messen disperser Systeme - Begriffe

Overview

This standard applies to terms used in the analysis of disperse substances, regardless of their material composition. Its purpose is to improve understanding and to relieve standards and other publications in this field of definitions of terms. The standard does not contain any terms for the identification of disperse systems or for sampling and sample division. Reference is made to DIN 55350 Part 14 and Part 21 to Part 23. Furthermore, it does not apply to terms that are used exclusively for the operational separation of disperse materials (see DIN 66142 Part 3). This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-11-42 AA "Partikelmesstechnik (SpA zu ISO/TC 24/SC 42") ("Particle measurement (Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 24/SC 42)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
