Overview
The presented standard is an interface standard for electrical cable assemblies. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard applies in conjunction with the standards for connection elements, cables and processing tools. It contains the assignment of single elements for assembled electric cables, information on the selection of processing tools and their positions, as well as information on wire stripping lengths, torques, sealing plugs and screws. The purpose of the standard is to ensure the technical requirements during assembling of electric cables by providing proven information.
