DIN EN 61260-3
Electroacoustics - Octave-band and fractional-octave-band filters - Part 3: Periodic tests (IEC 61260-3:2016); German version EN 61260-3:2016

Title (German)

Elektroakustik - Bandfilter für Oktaven und Bruchteile von Oktaven - Teil 3: Periodische Einzelprüfung (IEC 61260-3:2016); Deutsche Fassung EN 61260-3:2016

Overview

This part of IEC 61260 describes procedures for periodic testing of octave-band and fractional-octave-band filters that were designed to conform to the class 1 or class 2 specifications given in IEC 61260-1:2014. The aim of this standard is to ensure that periodic testing is performed in a consistent manner by all laboratories. The extent of the tests in part of IEC 61260 is deliberately restricted to the minimum considered necessary for periodic tests. This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 61260-3:2016. The International Standard IEC 61260-3:2016, on which this European Standard is based, has been prepared at Technical Committee 29 "Electroacoustics" of IEC (secretariat: DS, Denmark) with German collaboration. Regarding the German collaboration the responsible committee is Joint Committee NA 001-01-03 GA (NALS/DKE A 3) "Schallmessgeräte" ("Sound measuring instruments") under the chairmanship of Standards Committee Acoustics, Noise Control and Vibration Engineering (NALS) at DIN and VDI.
