Overview
This DIN SPEC has been prepared by a workshop (temporary committee) in the course of the PAS procedure. This DIN SPEC has been prepared and adopted by the authors named in the foreword. The DIN SPEC (PAS) is applied in areas with cross-company exchange relationships between logistics actors within the container-related supply chain. On the other hand, it is not intended for use at the level of individual companies; that is, for internal exchange relationships. The target group of DIN SPEC (PAS) is transport and logistics companies that are operationally involved in container transport between port and hinterland, such as shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, haulage companies, rail operators, terminal operators, shipping companies, etcetera.
