Overview

This document specifies the tibia method for selecting release torques for alpine ski bindings and provides information necessary for determining the release torques. This document applies to binding test equipment with torque measurement according to DIN ISO 11110. This document is not suitable for non-mechanical bindings or bindings used together with ski boots that extend over half of the lower leg. Working Committee NA 112-03-01 AA "Ski- und Snowboardsportgeräte" ("Ski and snowboard sports equipment") at DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment (NASport) is responsible for this document.
