Overview
This standard applies to coating materials to be used for controlled areas of nuclear facilities both on mineral, cementitious substrates (concrete, plaster, screed) for coating floors and walls/ceilings and on steel substrates. This standard contains tests and test methods to determine the identity of the characteristics of coating materials. Characteristics of coating materials are understood to mean, for example, density, flow time and colour. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN.
