Overview

This standard specifies the service properties for zinc die casting alloys with and without electrogalvanizing and a subsequently applied conversion coating with and without sealing. This standard defines the designations for the specified coating systems and specifies minimum requirements in described test methods. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-01-76 AA "Chemische und elektrochemische Überzüge" ("Chemical and electrochemical coatings") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
