Overview

This European Standard is applicable to paragliders as defined in 2.1. This part of EN 926 specifies requirements and test methods for the resistance of a paraglider to static and dynamic loads and sets the minimum strength threshold for its qualification. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 112-03-11 AA "Gleitschirme" ("Paragliders") at DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment (NASport).
