DIN 18312
German construction contract procedures (VOB) - Part C: General technical specifications in construction contracts (ATV) - Underground construction work

Title (German)

VOB Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen - Teil C: Allgemeine Technische Vertragsbedingungen für Bauleistungen (ATV) - Untertagebauarbeiten

Overview

ATV DIN 18312 "Underground construction work" has been technically revised by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). In all civil engineering standards of the VOB/C with a reference to the subsoil, the classification of soil and rock classes valid for decades is replaced by homogeneous zones. In addition, Clause 5 "Settlement of accounts" has been restructured. In addition, Clause 5 "Settlement of accounts" has been restructured. This standard deals with the excavation and extraction of soil and rock, using sub-surface and cut-and-cover techniques, for the construction of underground cavities in soil and rock, for example, adits, tunnels, caverns, shafts and the like, which are not directly intended for the extraction of minerals. It includes the breaking, loading and haulage of soil and rock, the supporting of the cavity underground, and the collection, treatment and discharge of water up to the assigned discharge point. It also applies to supporting work in cases where this also serves to permanently line the cavities.
