DIN 25401
Terms and definitions of nuclear technology, only on CD-ROM

Title (German)

Begriffe der Kerntechnik, nur auf CD-ROM

Overview

DIN 25401 contains terms and definitions from the field of nuclear technology for the physical and chemical basics, but also terms and definitions specific to the subjects of reactor design, safeguards, fuel technology, safety of nuclear plants, radiation protection, and disposal. The terms are also given in English and French. The English and French translations of these terms largely correspond to ISO 921:1997. DIN 25401 combines the terms and definitions of the former Parts 1 to 9 of DIN 25401 into one standard. The main topics (Clauses 2 to 8) correspond to the former parts. Terms which are relevant for more than one clause are listed in Clause 2. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-07-61 AA "Terminologie und Grundlagen" ("Terminology and fundamentals") at DIN.
