This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 28 "Petroleum products and related products of synthetic or biological origin" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 19 "Gaseous and liquid fuels, lubricants and related products of petroleum, synthetic and biological origin", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 062-06-51 AA "Anforderungen an Schmieröle und sonstige Öle" ("Requirements for lubricating oils and other oils") of Fachausschuss Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM) "(Technical Committee Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products (FAM)") of DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document describes a procedure for the classification of lubricants, industrial oils and related products of class L, Family H for hydraulic systems.
