Overview

Standard DIN EN 14399-3 is the German version of EN 14399-3. This standard specifies the requirements for assemblies of high-strength structural bolts and nuts of system HR suitable for preloaded joints with large widths across flats, thread sizes M12 to M36 and property classes 8.8/8 or 8.8/10 and 10.9/10. Standard series EN 14399 is directed at manufacturers and users of high-strength structural bolting assemblies. It contains in particular safety aspects. This standard is a revision of the standard from 2006. This European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-07 AA "Verbindungselemente für den Metallbau" ("Structural bolting") at the DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV).
