Overview

Standard DIN EN 14399-2 is the German version of EN 14399-2. This standard specifies the technical requirements for high-strength structural bolting assemblies in order to ensure the suitability for preloading of bolted connections in metallic structures. The standard specifies a suitability test to check the behaviour of the structural bolting assemblies. Standard series EN 14399 is directed at manufacturers and users of high-strength structural bolting assemblies. It contains in particular safety aspects. This standard is a revision of the standard from 2006. This European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-07 AA "Verbindungselemente für den Metallbau" ("Structural bolting") at the DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV).
