Overview

The standard is applicable for the determination of contents of elements, such as antimony, arsenic, lead, cadmium, caesium or mercury, in the following products: - standard fuels: hard coals, hard coal briquettes, hard coal coke, brown coals, brown coal briquettes and brown coal coke, - other solid fuels: slurry coal, low-grade coal and washery refuse, charcoal, charcoal briquettes, compressed wood, solid biofuels and solid recovered fuels, - power plant by-products: ash, slag, filter dust and clean gas dust from power plants. The dissolution methods for the preparation of sample solutions are described in this standard. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-12-02 AA "Prüfung fester Brennstoffe" ("Testing Solid Fuels") at the Mining Standards Committee (FABERG).
