Overview
This document specifies the dimensions of the 28 mm screw finish for glass containers designated MCA 7,5 R finish for one way glass. A draft of DIN EN 16290 "Glass packaging - Screw finishes for pressure capsules - MCA 7,5 R finish" has already been prepared in May 2011. After the CEN Enquiry it was decided to divide this draft, that means, to prepare one part for returnable glass MCA 7,5 finish and one part for one way glass MCA 7,5 finish. The document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 261 "Packaging", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German standardization committee is NA 115-02-04 AA "Behältnisse aus Glas" ("Glass packaging") at the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp) at DIN.
