Overview

This document specifies terms and definitions, requirements and test methods for earth masonry mortar manufactured in factories (factory-made earth plasters) for manufacture of load-bearing and non-load bearing earth masonry. For the application of earth masonry mortar, the Lehmbau-Regeln (German regulations for building with earth) apply. This standard is not applicable for stabilized earth masonry mortar. This standard is also not applicable for earth masonry mortar for construction sites. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-06-08 AA "Lehmbau" ("Construction materials made of earth") at DIN.
