DIN 51919
Testing of carbonaceous materials - Determination of the electrical resistivity of electrodes according to the current-voltage method - Solid materials

Title (German)

Prüfung von Kohlenstoffmaterialien - Bestimmung des spezifischen elektrischen Widerstandes von Elektroden nach dem Strom-Spannungsverfahren - Feststoffe

Overview

The method in accordance with this document serves for the non-destructive determination of the electrical resistivity of untreated carbonaceous and graphite electrodes as well as treated carbonaceous and graphite electrodes in accordance with DIN EN 60239, hereinafter called electrodes, at room temperature. The electrical resistivity provides information on the electrical endurance of an electrode. The committee responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 062-02-81 AA "Prüfverfahren für Kohlenstoff und Graphit" ("Testing of carbonaceous materials") at DIN.
