Overview

The test method specified in this standard is applicable for sealants which are in a plastic state for processing. It serves for assessment if binders - or other components - of sealants for sealing and glazing can migrate into adjacent building materials. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-02-16 AA "Fugendichtstoffe (SpA zu ISO/TC 59/SC 8 und CEN/TC 349)" ("Sealants for joints in building construction (Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 59/SC 8)") at DIN.
