DIN 6625-2
Angular steel tanks for above ground storage of liquids with a flashpoint of more than 55 °C - Part 2: Calculation

Title (German)

Eckige Behälter aus Stahl für die oberirdische Lagerung von Flüssigkeiten mit einem Flammpunkt von mehr als 55 °C - Teil 2: Berechnung

Overview

This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 104-01-07 AA "Tanks aus metallenen Werkstoffen" ("Tanks of metallic materials") at the Tank Installations Standards Committee (NATank) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. It applies for the calculation of the stability of angular tanks according to DIN 6625-1 that have been set up in buildings. When applying the calculation method, static verification for these tanks is assumed. The significant modification with respect to edition 09/1989 is the extension of the scope to factory-built tanks as well as the correction of the equation for the required section modulus in 5.4.4.
