Overview
This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for furnishings for windows and balcony doors suitable for retrofitting in order to prevent uncontrolled opening of windows and balcony doors by children. This standard is associated with the draft standard DIN 13126-5 "Building hardware - Hardware for windows and balcony doors - Requirements and test methods - Part 5: Devices that restrict the opening of windows and door height windows".
