Overview

This standard provides an organizational guideline for the transfer of information objects into a digital long-term archive by maintaining data integrity and authenticity. Tasks for the manufacturer and the digital long-term archive are designated in planning steps and described in common form. The scope of the standard comprises projects during which transfers of information into a digital long-term archive are planned and carried out. It refers to both the one-off transfer of information as well as the establishment of processes for repeated or automated transfer of information.
