This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-02-03 AA "Spannzeuge für Fräs- und Bohrmaschinen und automatischen Werkzeugwechsel" ("Clamping devices for milling and drilling machines and automatic tool exchange") of the Tools and Clamping Devices Standards Committee (FWS). This standard applies to taper shanks for front mounting for holding tools in milling and drilling machines and supplements DIN 2080-1. 7/24 (SK) taper shanks have a taper ratio of 7/24.
