Overview
This standard applies to rotating electrical machines with mounting flange and to those without mounting flange when testing for shaft extension run-out with a size range more than 315. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 311.1 "Elektrische Maschinen, Leistungen und Abmessungen" ("Electrical machinery, performance and dimensions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
