Overview

This standard applies to electric forced draught convection heaters (heating fans) intended to be set up on the floor, on tables, counters, bars, etcetera, or for wall mounting. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 513.4 "Heiz- und Wärmegeräte") ("Heating appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE. The previous draft standard was E DIN IEC 60704-2-2:2002-07.
