Concepts, abbreviations and symbols in geodesy - Part 5: Evaluation of continous series of observations

Title (German)

Begriffe, Kurzzeichen und Formelzeichen in der Geodäsie - Teil 5: Auswertung kontinuierlicher Messreihen

Overview

This standard applies to the processing, analysis and assessment of stochastic processes as applied in geodesy, in the form of continuous series of measurements. The purpose of this standard is to harmonize geodetic terms with those of other disciplines, provided that these are considered generic. On the other hand however, terms commonly used in geodesy are retained where possible. This standard bases on standard works which cover time series analysis, signal analysis and system theory. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-03-01 AA "Geodäsie" ("Geodesy") at DIN.
