Title (German)

Textilien - Oleophobie - Prüfung der Ölbeständigkeit mit Hilfe von Kohlenwasserstoffen (ISO 14419:2010); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 14419:2010

Overview

This International Standard is applicable to the evaluation of a substrate's resistance to absorption of a selected series of liquid hydrocarbons of different surface tensions. This International Standard is intended to provide a guide to oil stain resistance. Generally, it can provide rough details, for instance, the higher the oil repellency grade, the better the resistance to staining by oily materials, especially liquid oil substances. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 062 BR "Beirat des Normenausschusses Materialprüfung (NMP)" ("Board of the Standards committee for materials testing (NMP)") at DIN.
