Overview

DIN EN ISO 3386-2 specifies a method for the determination of the compression stress-strain characteristics of flexible cellular polymeric materials of a density greater than 250 kg/m3. This document already contains Amendment 1 (EN ISO 3386-2:1998/A1:2010) in which the requirements for the test machine as well as for the conditioning of the test piece are changed. This European Standard EN ISO 3386-2:1998/A1:2010 has been prepared by ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by NBN (Belgium). The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-04-37 AA "Prüfung weich-elastischer Schaumstoffe" ("Testing of flexible cellular polymeric materials") at DIN.
