Abstract
This document applies to long-link, tested, large tolerance round steel link chains of grade 3 made from tempered quality steel with natural black surface, covering a nominal diameter range, d, from 4 mm to 16 mm and an working force (WF) from 1,6 kN to 25 kN, as well as a permissible operating temperature from −20°C to +400°C. It specifies their dimensions and mechanical properties. Round steel link chains according to this document are used for general purposes across various fields of engineering. This document has been prepared by the working committee NA 085-00-02 AA "Round steel link chains, components and accessories for general purposes" in the DIN Standards Committee Round Steel Link Chains (NRK).
