Abstract
This document applies to long-link, tested, large tolerance round steel link chains of grade 3 made from tempered quality steel with natural black surface, covering a nominal diameter range, d, from 4 mm to 16 mm and an working force (WF) from 1,6 kN to 25 kN, as well as a permissible operating temperature from −20°C to +400°C. It specifies their dimensions and mechanical properties. Round steel link chains according to this document are used for general purposes across various fields of engineering.
