Project management - Project management systems - Part 2: Processes, process model
Abstract
The previous project management standards DIN 69901, DIN 69902, DIN 69903, DIN 69904 and DIN 69905, which arose from the network planning technique and were supplemented several times, have been summarized in the parts of DIN 69901, restructured, updated throughout and supplemented with essential parts. The core of the new structure is a model of the processes in the project management system. The terms from the various previous standard sheets have been combined into a single part. New additions include project management-specific methods and a data model. This standard was created as a replacement for the presentation of the PM elements from the previous DIN 69904 and consists primarily of a diagram of the PM processes and their descriptions.
