Overview
The scope covers the special requirements for field joint coatings of welded joints and flaws for corrosion protection of buried steel pipelines of transport systems or transport pipelines according to ISO 13623 in the field of petroleum and natural gas. This standard is both a product standard/test standard and an application standard and deals with aspects of the quality of field joint coatings and provides guidance on their application. This committee responsible for this standard is NA 032-02-09 AA "Außenkorrosion" ("External corrosion") at DIN.
