Overview
This document specifies the requirements for the ordering, manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of titanium and titanium alloy plates, sheets and strips. It is intended to be applied when referred to and in conjunction with the European material standard unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule. The EN 4800-001 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
