DIN Standards Committee Aerospace

Overview

This document specifies the general requirements for the recycling, by vacuum remelting or cold hearth melting, of titanium and titanium alloy scrap used for the production of ingots. The EN 2955 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
