Overview
This document specifies the test methods to evaluate the wicking of wire and cable insulated with textile braid. It is intended to be used together with EN 3475-100. The standard EN 3475-100 has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-02 AA "Elektrische Leitungen" ("Electric cables") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
