Overview
This document specifies the application method and quality assurance for aluminium pigmented coatings as per EN 4473 which may be applied to fasteners or other parts in titanium, titanium alloys, nickel or cobalt based alloys and corrosion resisting steels. The standard 4474 has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
