Overview
This document specifies the rack and panel plug for 2 and 4 modules, series 2 used in the family of rectangular electrical connectors, operating temperature 175 °C continuous. The receptacles and accessories corresponding to those plugs are specified in EN 4165-002. The standard 4165-008 has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical Connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
