Overview
This document specifies the requirements relating to: Steel X6CrNiTi18-10 (1.4541) Air melted Softened Bars for machining a or D ≤ 250 mm 500 MPa ≤ Rm ≤ 700 MPa for aerospace applications. The EN 3487 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
