Overview
The EN 4500 series specifies the rules for the drafting and presentation of metallic material standards for aerospace applications. This Part 002 specifies the "Specific rules for aluminium, aluminium alloys and magnesium alloys". The standard 4500-002 has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
