Overview
This document specifies the characteristics for screws, 100° countersunk reduced head, offset cruciform recess, close tolerance shank, short thread, in titanium alloy, anodized, MoS2 lubricated, classification 1 100 MPa/315 °C, inch series, for aerospace applications. The EN 6024 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") at DIN.
