DIN Standards Committee Aerospace

Overview

This document establishes the requirements for performing and documenting first article inspection (FAI). It is emphasized the requirements specified in this document are complementary (not alternative) to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The standard 9102 has been prepared by the ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee 131-05-01 AA "Qualitäts- und Managementverfahren" ("Quality and management processes") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
