Proof-of-concept for the application of EN 18037 in support of the CRA
Abstract
The NWIP will implement a proof of concept (PoC) for the practicality and applicability of the methodology specified in EN 18037 in support of the CRA and, if the related NWIP will be supported, the CRA-specific guidance provided by the TS “Guidance for the application of EN 18037 in support of the CRA”. The scope of activities of the proposed new work item includes: The application of the risk- and cybersecurity assessment specified in EN 18037 for the market sector “Consumer IoT” and intended uses of selected products, if possible, by using the CRA-specific guidance given in the 1st WD of the TS “Guidance for the application of EN 18037 in support of the CRA”. The documentation of the assessment of the market sector “Consumer IoT” in a CEN Technical Report. The TR “Documentation of the EN 18037 assessment results for the market sector Consumer IoT” is the deliverable targeted by this NWIP.
