Electronic Business
The working group "Electronic Business" handles standardization issues and projects on the use of electronic data interchange (EDI) in the administration (e-government) and in business (e-business). It directs and coordinates the activities of the subordinate working groups (AKs). Furthermore, the working group constitutes the national liaison to the specialized international standards bodies both at CEN - CEN/Workshop "eBES" (e-business Board for European Standardization); - CEN/eb-CG "electronic business Coordination Group"; - CEN/TC 434 "Project Committee - eInvoicing"; - CEN/TC 440 "Project Committee - Electronic Public Procurement" and ISO (TC 154 "Processes, data elements and documents in commerce, industry and administration") as well as UN/CEFACT "Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business".
