The "Financial Services" working committee reflects the activities of ISO/TC 68 "Financial Services" on a national level. It takes on coordinating tasks for the subordinate working groups that deal with standardised applications in the field of banking, in particular security aspects, securities, electronic payment systems, media and security procedures and general banking. The main concern of NA 177-00-05 AA is to contribute German interests to international standardisation. The existing international standards in this area are applied nationally. In addition to international standardisation, independent German standardisation is only carried out to a very limited extent (DIN 5004; DIN 32786).
