Overview
This standard sets out recommendations for selection, storage, use and maintenance of rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies. The aim is to keep the hoses and hose assemblies in a state which corresponds to the as-received condition. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45/SC 1 "Hoses" of the International Organization for Standardization and has been adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national Standards Committee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Schläuche" ("Hoses") of the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
