Schiffe und Meerestechnik - Abwasserbehandlungsanlagen - Verfahren zur Beprobung
Overview
This document describes the procedure for sampling from waste water treatment plants on vessels and offshore structures. Sampling essentially includes the objective of short-term or also long-term control of the effectiveness of treatment plants, such as the determination of the efficiency of the treatment plants. Environmental monitoring, such as monitoring compliance with legally prescribed limit values and controlling disposal both on land and at sea, will also play a fundamental role in the future. This document provides a detailed description of a comprehensive sampling program, covering everything from sample preparation and sampling equipment to sample preservation. Additional requirements include, for example, the frequency, timing, and duration of sampling. The selection of sampling types, individual samples or composite samples, which can be collected either manually or automatically, is also specified in the requirements in order to ensure reproducibility. Annex A (informative) provides an example of a protocol titled "Sampling for wastewater (suitable for in-house analysis)". The responsible committee is Working Committee NA 132-02-04 AA "Wasserversorgung und -entsorgung" ("Potable water and drainage systems").
